A multinational mining giant had formed a commercial division to handle all non-mining related activities. The Chief Commercial Officer sought to appoint a highly experienced Finance and Operations executive to handle trade and non-trade finance. Augment conducted and ran a structured international search, which involved: Research to determine mining, oil & gas, and trading houses where talent may reside; Building a longlist of globally suitable candidates; and Conducting extensive screening & interviewing to refine to a ‘targeted longlist’. After remotely interviewing candidates across 4 continents, the final 3 candidates were flown to meet the CCO and a final candidate was selected. Augment assisted in the rem & benefits negotiation and facilitated the close.
