Welcome to Augment New Zealand. We are a growing team of experienced Kiwi practitioners, based in Wellington and Auckland.

In 2020 we expanded into the New Zealand market and appointed Mike Blanchard as our local Managing Director and have since gained a significant share of the procurement and supply chain market.

Mike Blanchard is a respected and prominent figure in the Supply Chain and Procurement fields, both in Australia and New Zealand. Mike brings a wealth of experience to the New Zealand operation.

Augment New Zealand was launched in response to an increasing need. Procurement in New Zealand is a much sort after skill, which has been in ‘short supply’ for some years now. In fact ‘Procurement Manager’ has currently been on the skills shortage pathway to residency for over 12 years.

With our strong links to our Australian partners, Augment New Zealand is able to provide a unique service offering with our team steadily growing. In July 2023 Augment Resources joined the All of Government Talent Acquisition service Panel providing permanent, contract and temporary resources. Mathew Templar, Senior Consultant is responsible for driving our Wellington region and servicing all the government agencies in providing the very best specialist in Procurement, Supply Chain , and Commercial Management. We are currently heavily engaged across a range of sectors including FMCG, Transport and Logistics, Industrial Manufacturing, Financial Services, Telecommunications and Retail, from enterprise level corporates to smaller, niche organisations.

Our unique value is that we have procurement practitioners that have previously led multiple Procurement and Supply chain organisations both in Public and Private Sectors and their understanding and experience enables Augment not only to gain practical incites from face-to-face discussions with the agencies and organisations but also offer practical alternatives to the hiring managers.
